“ Visited Desi Dera in Birmingham for the first time to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout. The food was excellent—especially the lamb chops and fried fish for starters, followed by the chicken and lamb karahi, all full of flavour and freshly prepared. A very enjoyable experience and a great choice for a special occasion. We look forward to visiting again. ”

“ Took the family out today - we've been many times before and loved the food. Unfortunately today, everything was super-spicey (even the starters). Most of the food was left untouched. I dont like to trash on businesses, but they really need to have better consistency in their food. The previous 7 or 8 times I have been, the food has been spot on. Dont know if this is a decline or a blip. I will go again though to confirm. ”

Even when the restaurant got busy, Sid stayed calm, smiled constantly, and made sure our glasses were topped up and plates cleared exactly when needed. “ No nonsense, forget the service or restaurant atmosphere it’s the food that counts and the mix grill was amazing. We had a couple of mix grill, and a Karahi with naans and roti. The mix grill meats were so tasty and succulent with plenty to keep your belly satisfied. ”
